This pandemic has gone on for so much longer than most of us expected, and it’s no wonder why so many of us are finding it’s taking a toll on our mental health.
Although we are in the same storm, we’re all in different boats!
Some people have found themselves working crazy hours caring for others, some are isolating at home seriously missing social interaction.
But whatever situation you’re in, it won’t have been easy, and now is the time to show yourself the love that you truly deserve! 🥰
Looking after yourself shouldn’t be a luxury - remember, you can’t pour from an empty cup! ☕🥰
Here at Wow You we firmly believe the most important kind of love is self-love 💘. So here are some things we like to do to delve into that self-care we all deserve!
1.Have a bubble bath or long, luxurious shower! 🛁🚿
2.Reach out to someone special to you and tell them you love them. 💕
3.Look in the mirror and give yourself 3 compliments. Speak as if you were speaking to a friend! 🔎
4.Make your favourite drink, and while you are drinking it, make a list things that make you happy! 🍵📝 Keep your list to look at when you’re having a bad day!
5.Pop on some fluffy socks, light a candle and treat yourself to a facemask! 🕯️🧖♀️
6.Cook your favourite meal, and savour it! 🍲
7.De-clutter a spot in your house – big or small! 🧹
8.Enjoy an episode of your favourite tv programme or podcast! 📺
9.Listen to your favourite song on loud, bonus points for singing and dancing around! 🎶
10.Have a long shower, pop fresh pyjamas on and change your bedsheets for ultimate night time comfort! 🛏️
11.Treat yourself to something you’ve wanted for a while! You deserve it! 😘
12.Cook a meal or bake something you haven’t tried before! 🧁
13.Look through photos that bring you happy memories! 📷
14.Get creative! Get involved with a crafty activity you enjoy already or try out something new! 🎨
