FAQs

Delivery & Shipping

We use the Royal Mail to send out your parcel, here are their recommendations for the last posting dates before Christmas:

UK 1st Class - 20th December

UK 2nd Class - 18th December

Australia & New Zealand - 12th December

Canada, Finland, Italy, Sweden & USA - 13th December

Austria, Denmark, Germany, Netherlands, Norway, Portugal, Spain, Switzerland - 16th December

Belgium, France, Ireland - 18th December

Please note - As the postal service is an independent company, we can't guarantee your parcel will arrive before Christmas. We recommend upgrading to Tracked shipping at checkout if you are an international customer so you can track your parcel in this busy period!

For UK customers:

Orders over £20 get delivered 1st Class (1-3 working days) for free!
For orders under £20, it costs £2 for 2nd Class delivery (2-4 working days) or £3 for 1st Class delivery (1-3 working days).

For international customers, please add items to your cart and click checkout for an accurate shipping cost. Standard International shipping (not Tracked) is free if you order is above a certain amount. The banner at the top of the page will let you know when you have qualified for free Standard shipping!

We ship via the Royal Mail and are able to send parcels worldwide!

Orders outside of the UK may be subject to local import charges.

We would advise that you look up how much your local customs or import duties fees will be before you place your order.

We cannot be held responsible for any additional charges as they are your responsibility once we've shipped from the UK.

We pack orders daily (Mon-Fri) and endeavour to ship out on the same working day if your order is placed before 2pm (GMT).

For UK orders, you should receive your items within 1-4 working days.

For orders to all other European countries, orders should be with you within 4-10 working days via our Standard service and 3-7 working days via our Tracked service.

For orders to the USA, Australia and other international countries, orders should be with you within 5-10 working days.

All orders are sent via the Royal Mail and then usually use your local postal service once the parcel has landed in your country. If you haven't received a parcel within these time frames, please get in touch!

Please note - a working day only includes Monday-Friday and does not include weekends (Saturday and Sunday) or Bank Holidays here in the UK. Here is a link to the UK's Bank Holiday dates for reference.

We only offer tracked shipping as an option for international customers.

If you choose tracked shipping (rather than standard) at checkout, you will recieve a tracking code in your shipping confirmation email.

Please see "How long will it take for my order to arrive?" above for our standard shipping times to your region. If however it has been longer than these estimates, please get in touch!

Please note that we only have a tracking code for your parcel if you chose the Tracked Shipping option at checkout.

Payments & refunds

Our refund policy covers 30 days from the date of your purchase.

Email us at hello@wowyou.com to let us know you'd like a refund (and if you could give us some feedback about why you didn't get on with the product, we'd really appreciate it!).

If you live in the UK, we will then send you a free returns label for you to ship the items back to us (so we can recycle and dispose of the packaging responsibly). If you are international, please arrange for the items to be shipped back to us at the following address:

Once the items have been recieved by us, we'll process your refund via your original payment method.

We only accept refunds once per product over 30 days and reserve the right to decline any further purchases.

We accept payments via PayPal, Apple Pay, credit cards or debit cards (Visa, Mastercard, etc).

With Klarna's Pay later, you can pay for your order 30 days after shipping if you're based in the UK or 14 days after shipping if you're based internationally.

Products & Packaging

All of our products are vegan, except two which contain honey (Slay Cleanser & Z'est la Vie) and our Lip Butters which contain beeswax.

Yes! We don't use ingredients that have been tested on animals. We also don't test finished products on animals nor do we work with anyone who does. In addition, we will never sell to markets where animal testing is mandatory.

Our products are made to the highest standards here in the UK!

All of our products are formulated to be as kind to skin as possible. This is especially true of our sensitive range which have no added fragrances and contain ingredients specifically for sensitive skin! To be completely sure of compatibility with your skin, we'd recommend you patch test before you start using any of our products.

All of our products have a 12 month period after opening, so you have a year to use them once you’ve opened them. We recommend storing your skincare in a cool, dry and dark place to keep them in tip top condition.

We always strive to create sustainable and ethical products that are as kind to the environment as they are to your skin and this includes our packaging. Our bottles and jars are all recyclable and can be responsibly disposed of by putting them in with your usual recycling bin. Always make sure you wash out any old product and remove labels before recycling to make it easier for the items to be recycled.

If you are at all unsure about whether you can put our packaging in your local recycling, why not use our recycling scheme? Essentially you can send back your empty packaging to us and we will give you a gift voucher to spend on your next purchase to cover the cost of the shipping - just email us at hello@wowyou.com if you'd like to use this service!

We ship our products out to you in recyclable FSC certified cardboard shipping boxes, using recyclable pink shredded paper as a packing material to protect them so there is no extra plastic involved in the shipping materials.

We have weighed up all the options currently available to us and found that recylable plastic packaging is the most sustainable option for us at the moment. Empty packaging can be returned to us if you are in any doubt about your local recycling centre disposing of it responsibly, plus we'll give you a voucher to spend on your next purchase to cover the return postage costs!

We don't want to use glass or metal packaging due to the huge amount of extra CO2 emissions caused by the manufacturing, shipping and recycling of these materials. Glass and metal are much heavier than plastic and also require much higher temperatures to manufacture and recycle, thus they are not as eco friendly as we would like them to be.

Rather than replace one problem (plastic) with another (high CO2 emissions), we want to find a truly eco friendly option and we are in the process of searching for the best alternative. If you have any suggestions for low-CO2 emission biodegradable or compostable cosmetic packaging options (that pass stability testing) then we would love to hear from you!
